Data Deletion Instructions

Collabfront is an influencer and UGC creator marketplace operated by Act1 FZE LLC, a company registered under the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority in the United Arab Emirates.

This document explains what personal data Collabfront collects when you connect your Instagram account to our platform, and provides clear instructions on how to request the deletion of that data.

This document is published in compliance with:

• Meta Platform Terms (Section 3(d)(i)) and the Meta Developer Data Use Policy, which require developers to provide users with a clear and accessible path to request deletion of their data.
• The UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), which grants individuals the right to request erasure of their personal data.

When you connect your Instagram account to Collabfront through the Instagram Graph API, we access and store the following data:

2.1 Profile Data

• Instagram username and display name
• Profile photo URL
• Account type (Business or Creator)
• Follower and following counts
• Account biography

2.2 Content and Performance Data

• Recent media posts (captions, media type, publication date, permalink)
• Engagement metrics on posts (likes, comments, shares, saves)
• Post-level insights (reach, impressions)
• Account-level insights (profile visits, reach, impressions over time)

2.3 Audience Data

• Audience demographic breakdowns (age range, gender, top countries and cities)

2.4 Technical Data

• Instagram User ID
• OAuth access tokens used to retrieve your data (stored securely and not shared)

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Collabfront marketplace. We do not access your direct messages, stories (unless insights are specifically available via the API), or any account content that is not covered by the permissions you have granted.

All data collected from your Instagram account is used solely for the following purposes:

• To create and display your creator profile to brands on the Collabfront platform.
• To allow brands to evaluate your account for potential collaboration opportunities.
• To provide post-campaign performance reporting to brands who have booked you through Collabfront.
• To verify completion of agreed campaign deliverables.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your Instagram data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Collabfront marketplace.

We retain your Instagram data for as long as your Collabfront account is active. If you disconnect your Instagram account from Collabfront or delete your Collabfront account, your Instagram data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days of that action, unless we are required to retain certain records by applicable law or to fulfil outstanding contractual obligations with brands.

Any data retained for legal or contractual purposes will be kept for the minimum period required and will not be used for any other purpose.

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of all personal data Collabfront holds about you, including all data accessed via your connected Instagram account. To submit a deletion request, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Prepare your request

You will need to provide the following information so we can locate your account:

• The email address associated with your Collabfront account.
• Your Instagram username (optional but helpful).
• A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of all your personal data.

Step 2: Send your request

Send an email to info@collabfront.app with the subject line: Data Deletion Request.

Step 3: Confirmation

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days of receipt. We will complete the deletion of your data within 30 days of acknowledging your request, in accordance with UAE PDPL requirements. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Once your deletion request has been fulfilled:

• Your Collabfront creator profile will be permanently removed from the platform and will no longer be visible to brands.
• All Instagram data retrieved via the API (profile information, insights, audience demographics, access tokens) will be permanently deleted from our systems and backups within 30 days.
• Your Collabfront account will be deactivated and removed.
• You will not be able to recover your account or data after deletion is confirmed.

Please note: deletion of your data from Collabfront does not affect your Instagram account itself. Your Instagram account, content, and data remain on Instagram and are governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.

In limited circumstances, we may be required to retain certain information even after a deletion request. This applies only where:

• Retention is required to comply with a legal obligation under UAE law or applicable international law.
• Retention is necessary to resolve an outstanding dispute, enforce an existing agreement, or protect against legal claims.
• The data has been anonymised and can no longer be linked to you as an individual.

Any data retained under these exceptions will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted as soon as the legal or contractual basis for retention no longer applies.

As a user of Collabfront, you have the following rights under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL):

• Right to be informed: You have the right to know what personal data we collect about you and how we use it.
• Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: You may request that inaccurate or outdated data be corrected.
• Right to erasure: You may request the permanent deletion of your personal data, as described in this document.
• Right to object: You may object to the processing of your data for marketing or survey purposes.
• Right to data portability: You may request that your data be provided to you in a portable format.
